Meet the Winners of our International Law and Technology Writing Competition for 2024!

vLex is pleased to announce the winners of our International Law and Technology Writing Competition for 2024! It was an extremely difficult decision to select the winners from a shortlist of 15 finalists. All the entries this year were of an extremely high quality, with students writing brilliant, thoughtful, papers on a range of current issues around LLMs, Immigration, and Industrial Action. - Overall Winner: Bessie O’Dell, University of Oxford, for Spotlight on Large Language Models: Copyright Law in the Age of Digital Creativity.
- Category - Large Language Models: Marco Berki, the University of Reading, for Legal Market Transformed: The Impact of LLMs on Legal Practice.
- Category - Immigration: Rhiannon Victoria Maher, The Open University, for Artificial Intelligence in Asylum Governance.
- Category - Industrial Action: Isobel Macey-Dare, City, University of London, for All Eyes on the Strike: Workplace Surveillance and Industrial Action.
